| Please pray for a guy named Phil from the church I went to back in
Lexington. He and his brother were in a serious car accident last night
and Phil suffered serious, life-threatening head trauma. His brother
just had "minor injuries" along with two other people. Thanks. |

| May God's will be done and that He will heal them quickly of the physical damage as well as the emotional trauma he and his family are experiencing. May this horrible event bring them and those around them closer to the Lord. |

| Thanks all. Phil comes from a strong Christian family and they appreciate all our prayers. All I know at this point is that he is still unconscious and does not appear to have any permanent brain damage. They are concerned about some swelling issues. |

| Sorry I just abandoned this request, it has been a hectic time and I honestly forgot that I posted it. Phil is still in a coma but is making good progress. He is localizing pain, opening his eyes and making some mild reactions to stimuli. He was transferred from UK Hospital in Lexington to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta for his pre-rehab and seems to be doing well there. If anyone is interested in checking up on him for themselves, his family/friends have set up a blog @ http://prayforphil.wordpress.com/ where they update on his progress. Thanks all for your prayers. |
