I just learned tonight that one of our high school's graduates from last year has committed suicide. Everybody knew him and it was unexpected. Please pray for his family and for our school, as he just left us and his sister still goes to our school.

Today was a grim day at school. Usually, the hallways are full of buzz, but today was subdued. Almost everyone knew the guy, and his sister. Many students were absent today, and I can't blame them. Even though I didn't know the guy, my nerves were/are shaken by the news.

Wow, that's tough. My sister in law committed suicide a few months back. It's always a tough thing to deal with not only the loss of someone you care about, but also the knowledge that it was a deliberate act. My heart goes out to everyone grieving for this young man.
