| Ok so I haven't had a chance to listen to anything more than just half of one song (My wife said the kids needed to watch "Tangled" so that means I have to turn the speakers off on the computer....drat) lol.
But it sounds like melodic metal/power metal kind of band and they are offering their debut album for a free download.

| Ok I've listened to three tracks now and the "power metal" label doesn't fit this band (it was really just the drums in the video that was making think that). The music is a modern sounding AOR/melodic metal. Fantastic stuff, the lyrics are very cool as well. It's only January 1st, but I expect this will probably be one of my favorite albums for 2012.

| I finally got to listen to this today during my walk at lunch. I must say that the songs are very catchy. I was well surprised by the overall quality of this release. Kind like what we would have likely been doing by now if Ascension had stayed together.
My old band Ascension we broke up back in 1995. All these but the first are my tunes man I miss writing/playing this kind of stuff!

| Prog? Really? I don't hear that at all. This is straight up melodic hard rock IMO. This album is FANTASTIC. I have been spinning it a lot. BTW, if you email the band, they will send you the higher quality mp3 files. |
