YouVersion

Does anyone use this online bible site? I just signed up to use it on my pc (it's as easy as signing up for a an account here, you just pick a user name and password).
There are several different bible versions to peruse (in many different languages) and you can also sign up for daily bible reading plans and daily devotionals.
My daughter has a smart-phone and signed up for the mobile version. If you have the mobile version it will actually read the bible (audio) for you if you want.

My wife uses it on her iPad, but I use WordSearch on my computer.

Use WordSearch on my Lappy too

Staybrite, we didn't mean to leave you out of the "free app club". Laughing

These are the ones I use on my iPhone (all free): YouVersion ; Blue Letter Bible ; Logos Bible ; Merriam Webster Dictionary Free.

These are what I use on my Lappy: WordSearch 9 (excellent program, affordable - esp when on sale) ; Pradis 6 (My 1st original Bible study software -no longer available. It's loaded with tons of Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.) ; Blue Letter Bible (donation, easy to use, lots of goodies http://www.blueletterbible.org/cd/cd_info.cfm ) ; NET Bible (an excellent free Bible version with study notes http://bible.org/ )

So there you have it. (Now you can't say I never told yuh bout these)

I hadn't heard of this before. I'll have to check it out.

I know of a few other people that would like to see it so I'll spread the word about it.

It was you Staybrite who told me about YouVersion.
I used a lot of different daily scriptures for e-mail, but all those sites quit to send their daily scriptures.

I have the YouVersion Bible app for my iPhone. It's very buggy at times, but I like being able to search the Bible that much quicker. It also offers a reading-out-loud feature on certain translations; though I don't use it, it can be handy.
