That seems to be correct. The CMR logo has even been replaced by the Anonymous logo. I don't know any other details, but I will let you know when/if the CMR is restored. Pray that our forum is not hit as well.

For the staff, do not accept any new members for the time being.

I don't think it really has anything to do with the members, given Anonymous's techniques. In effect, the latest arrival here is Readi_Sketti, whom we know is legit (not casting any doubt here!). They tend to use different techniques, such as DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service: flooding a website with requests so that the servers go down).




I just got an email from the CMR:

You can contact the administrator to know why it has been deleted.

I've seen there's something wrong with CMR.
That's a good advice to do that.

I hope they stay away from CHM.

Just to be on the safe side, change all your passwords including here and Facebook.

I had a convo with DarkFireDragoon (of the CMR) about this, and he wanted me to say this:

"Well if it stays up let the folks from the Realm that go there know that I'm sticking around for whatever our next solution is. Man. This is frustrating."

I will also stick around. I just wish I had the tech savvy to stop this from happening in the future.

I found out from Arttie that the attack happened through my account. That just sucks.

Yes, I got the same message- I hope they can get back online soon.

It may take a few days. Luckily, Niceboard does a backup every couple of days. So, they might lose some info, but at least the majority of the board will be able to be rebooted. Sadly, many of us will have to start over with all new accounts.

Oh man that seriously stinks.

It's still possible for us to get hacked. However, as small as we are, we might fly under the radar.

I just got online and checked my e-mail and one said...Your account on 'The Christian Metal Realm' has been deleted by the administrator, due to your inactivity on the forum.

I was like WHAAAAAA!

I was just coming here to mention this and I see it is not just me.

I never got an email, but when I saw this thread, I went over there, and sure enough, my account is gone. I really wasn't using it much anyways, but still... bummer.

It also looks as if several people have rallied to the CMR Facebook page (I just joined along with about a dozen others).
