I use Find My Friends for iPhone. I can see where my brother is and vice-versa. It's a useful app when checking progress reports on driving. On the other hand, it's easy to opt out. | |

Every cell phone for the last 10 years has had a special feature that allows one to be tracked anywhere, anytime....even when the phone is off. | |

Actually, you don't have to have a smartphone to be tracked. If you own one, then every call or text can be saved. If you are close to 3 towers, your exact position can be triangulated quickly with less than a 4 minute call.
