Wow 16 thousand Euros....that seems like a lot of money (it's more than 21 thousand U.S. dollars). Do they really need that much?

That's a lot of money they need.

I wonder if they have enough of a following to actually raise that kind of money. Guardian only did it because of a single generous benefactor on the last day of their Kickstarter program.
