Bands with albums out this year...

Ok, so this is the list on my website. It's not exhaustive (clearly!) but it could be a good year if they all happen...

Already released in 2013...
Golden Resurrection - One Voice For The Kingdom
Razorigami - Weathering the Winter of the Soul (out of nowhere comes this gem!)
Stryper - Second Coming album (rerecordings plus 2 new songs) (ok, so it's not released yet, but it's almost here!)

To be released at some point...)
Barren Cross - They say they'll be releasing 3 songs every 3 or 4 months on iTunes.
Bloodgood, they are writing stuff this year (2013)
Bride - Bring My Your Frankenstein is coming, although it's not called that now!
Deliverance! Yes, they're back!
Guardian - Another one on the way!
GX Project - New album may be here in 2013 (could be 14 though)
Impellitteri - Working on their next album.
King James - Almost definitely be out this year!
Mission Of One. Another album should be on the way from Chris and co.
P.K. Mitchell's follow up to All Hail The Power
Recon - Worldview
Sacred Warrior's album has been delayed, now with new Vocalist.
Scandinavian Metal Praise - New album out this year!
Stairway - New album on the way
Stryper - Album of complete new songs maybe late 2013, but probably 2014
Michael Sweet - Not Metal, but always great with lots of hooks!
Virginia Creeper should hopefully release their new album this year!
Whitecross - possibly this year, maybe next - maybe never...
X-Sinner maybe doing a new album, but they're concentrating on GX first.


Of all those here's the ones I'm most excited about and will be at the top of my album of the year list...

1 - Virginia Creeper - The Gospel Of
If this comes out this year (it's been delayed quite a few times in the past) then I think it'll top the bill for album of the year.

2 - Razorigami - Weathering The Winter Of The Soul
Can't believe how good this is. Even if All the albums above come out this year (and they won't!) this will make the top 3.

3 - Sacred Warrior
Absolutely loved Obsessions, and am keen to hear the new album when it arrives!



To be honest I'm looking forward to them all, but those are the three that I'm keenest on!

Fundy

The Bride cd is going to be called Incorruptible. They are recording it now I believe.
Guardian's is called Almost Home- Should be near completion.
WhiteCross-While I wish, I ain't holding my breath for that one.

I wonder how many of these old bands will have a modern metal sound and how many will go back to their original sound?
