REZ mp3s HELP

I'm gonna step out on a limb here and ask if anyone has a couple early REZ albums in mp3 form that they would'nt mind sharing with me.
I have ALL their albums, many on LP, some on CD.
But I dont have:
"All Your Life" 1974
and "Awaiting Your Reply" 1974
It says they were cassette releases - I don't have them, but want to listen to them. As far as I know, they have not been re-released.

Awaiting Your Reply was issued on CD but is VERY rare. While I was still a serious fan, I searched high and low for All Your Life. I'm still not convinced it actually exists.

I know I don't have "All Your Life", and I'm not sure I have "Awaiting Your Reply" but I will check

Anyone with these, who's willing to hook me up, will be King of the Thread !

I cannot get to my CDs right now in my cast. I do, however, have "Awaiting Your Reply" on disc. I need to get it on my MP3 player as well. Until this cast comes off, I cannot get that done.

I'm certainly not in a hurry. I just want to "complete" my REZ collection and give a listen to those 2 I've never heard before.

I thought one of those early demo albums was entitled
Music to Raise the Dead


Did I miss something?

Just because Awaiting Your Reply was the name of their debut album in 1978 that was issued on CD..... curious...

See I don't know. I have "Music to raise dead", but their discography shows the two I listed and they're the only 2 I don't have - I imagine they're OOP, and don't see myself finding them anytime soon.

How good is your quality on "Music to Wake The Dead"? I have a cassette copy, but it is worn out enough that making a CD-R from it would not really be possible.

First off - Music to raise the Dead is a vastly under-rated album - I really love it !
Second, last time I listened to it was about 2 months ago and from what I remember it sounds perfect.
I'll give it another listen today and confirm it's quality. If it is indeed as good quality as I remember, I'll upload it for you (and anyone else interested).

I'm thinking about buying that because my copy is an old cassette rip at 128 bit rate.

There are some copies alledging to be All My Life floating around the download sites, but those are a mislabeled collection of demos from later.

Turns out I only seem to have Awaiting Your Reply on cassette. But it is in great shape (I got it sealed a few years ago).

If anything I ask for on mp3s (or anything I post) is currently available for sale (ie re-issued), please notify me (as you did), I don't wanna be trading tunes here on CHM that would take money out of the artist's hands.

I would definitely advocate buying AYR as it is copyrighted work and as was pointed out it is available for sale from Amazon.com and iTunes.

As for All My Life, I have never seen definitive proof that it truly exists, and I've been buying Rez material since the early 80's. That said, the site below appears to disprove my statement as it is available for streaming.

You can also record it if you have something like Freecorder (http://freecorder.com/). Normally I don't advocate recording streaming music as that would in most cases be considered illegal. However, as I said earlier I have never seen definitive proof that All My Live was ever released to the public. In fact, I've never even seen any mention of it on a Rez-related web site such as Grrr Records (http://grrrrecords.com/rezband.cfm). It was probably a "for record companies only" demo, or at best something that was given away at concerts. Who knows, it might even be some type of bootleg made by someone in the mixing studio! In any case, I don't believe recording it from the web page would break any copyright laws unless you intended to sell it. Then again, I'm no lawyer, so consider this a suggestion, not advice.

unless the artist is selling them chances are pretty good the artists already made their money lol .. used copies, etc... but I'm not going to start up a debate on that.
