| Can you guys send one up for my wife and her family, her Dad died yesterday. She's doing ok, but I know this is hard for her. They were never close, geographically as well as relationship-wise. He was a "good man" but has always been rather self centered. He rejected our attempts at witnessing to him in the past. However, in the last year he started warming up to his kids and made an attempt at keeping in touch for the first time ever. I was very happy with that cuz it helped my wife to be at peace with their relationship after all these years. Yesterday, he went to work, and the day after his birthday (at 75 and one day) he dropped dead at work. Lisa, my son and I are going to fly out to New Hampshire for the funeral. This is very important to her and so it is to me, however it puts us both in a difficult position with our jobs. She's the manager of the Drs office and practically runs the whole show, so they'll be in a bind. I just started my job and the first of the month is the most busiest crazy day. I'm praying that they'll be able to find a "floater" technician to cover me in such short notice. They'll not be happy with me, but "family first" has always been my motto. Anyways, thanks for the prayer. |

| We're driving 2 hours Wednesday night to the airport, spending the night in a hotel and flying out Thurs morning to New Hampshire. Funeral's Friday, and we'll fly back on Sunday. From one coast to the other... I'll be sure and wave to everyone from the plane when I pass over your states. |

| Very sorry to hear about this brother. I will be praying for your wife (and you) as well as her family. It is never easy to loose a family member. I also pray that things go well with your very long trip, and that you will have no problems taking the time away from work. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| You can count on my prayers, bro. It's never easy to lose someone--especially your parents. Remind your wife that during these times of grief that the Lord is VERY near. God knows how you feel--He lost a Son once. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. |

| Thank you all for your prayers. My friends here at CHM mean a lot to me and I appreciate you. Please pray that my family will be an inspiration and a witness of God's love and comfort to Lisa's family. Maybe someone in her family could come to know Jesus through all of this. I'm going to meet her brother for the first time ever... and he has been difficult in years past. We had sent "evidence" e-mails to her family (just little interesting Biblical, archaeological historical facts, with a message) back in 2001. Her brother was very offended and sent a scathing e-mail to me about fanatical Christians and stuff.... well, I was upset but forgave him, and about 4 years later he expressed to his mother that he was sorry he had sent that e-mail. So there's always hope, but my flesh is nervous about going and seeing her family again and meeting Curt for the first time face to face. The funeral's Friday and we have to go to her Dad's house Saturday and clean up. I've been told he was a SLOB, so this will be interesting. We fly back Sunday, so I'll update you guys Monday morning. Again, thanks for your prayers, it means a lot to me during this time. |

| Praying that all will go well as you meet your brother-in-law. And that your traveling will be otherwise uneventful. I pray that God will use as his witness to those who need his salvation. Take care of yourself and your wife, we want to see you back safe and sound. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
