Hahaha....I remember when that came out, it was actually fairly popular at my school but i never watched it.

I will have to check it out, it looks exactly like the kind of movie I would love.

Who's Harry Crumb?

Loved Harry Crumb! But I pretty much loved anything that John Candy did, Uncle Buck, Planes Trains & Automobiles, Spaceballs...even his short role in Home Alone is priceless.

Since these were brand new movies, I have watched the following 2 rather obscure? movies at least 25 or more times each:

May be a just a tad later than 80s, but everything Paulie Shore was ridiculously hilarious !

UHF, Ha that one is awesome I love it. Saw it in the theater when it was new. Here's another I watched on HBO probably 100 times as a kid. Jimmy The Kid with Gary Coleman

That Sumer School movie looks pretty good, I don't remember seeing that one. And that was at a time when I was watching EVERY movie that came out - especially comedies.
Have to see if Netflix has it.

I had a hard time finding it on dvd..great movie. One of my favorites.

I love your new avatar. I am a HUGE fan of the Ernest movies...in fact I have them all...even the commercials he did for local companies...

I couldn't find a trailer.so this is the whole movie..

It has Carrie Fisher and Chevy Chase in it...and a ton of guest stars (which is why I like 70s and  80s movies, they did that a lot)

Under The Rainbow

Oh man Under The Rainbow, a fictional comedy about the making of the Wizard of Oz film...had one of the largest casts of "little people" I have every seen.

Speaking of "little people"...how about

 Summer School is primo Mark Harmon/Kirstie Alley stuff!  Every time I see Mark Harmon interviewed I think he seems much more like this character than Gibbs.
