| Thanks, folks, for the wishes! I spent my birthday in France for the first time - usually, I'm in Canada when my birthday rolls around. I was with my dad, his parents, and two of my aunts. We had a pretty good supper - smoked salmon, potatoes, green beans, and especially an amazing cake. French pastry is awesome!  Afterward, when my dad and I were headed back to Paris to catch our plane, we stopped at some relatives'. They got me two comic books, which were unfortunately not my kind of comic book, but it was kind of them to remember. The meal was very good too - rabbit cooked in mustard and milk, and mashed potatoes. (can you tell I like food?) | |

| MURRRRRRRRRRRRRICA! Patriotism amuses me. By the way, winters in France are usually above freezing, ranging from 40 to 60 Fahrenheit (5 to 15 Celsius, for the rest of the world). My dad and I were walking around in t-shirts, downtown in the city where we were staying, while everyone else was wearing jackets or even parkas. I wish I'd brought a shirt with a red maple leaf on the front of it. | |

| Nice! Haha back in high school I realized I had gone an entire year without wearing anything long-sleeved. I thought to myself, "I bet I could do that again." I went three more years doing so. But that last year was super cold and wet so once I made it through, I bought myself a jacket. Turns out my normal operating body temperature is around 100.4 degrees F or so.  | |
