Went with the title track for the music alone. This album is not bad, but not great. It's just kinda "there". I like most of the songs here, but there's not a single song that jumps out at me. "Fools Gold" is one of Petra's better ballads.

Thankful heart for me! Such a beautiful, and beautifully genuine song. Yes, it is heavy on keys but in this case it really works and it's wonderful.

Ooo, this is a close call.  Love You Are I Am, Shakin' The House, and Thankful Heart, but had to go with Fool's Gold.  Love the line...

Shakin' the House, a great rocker that showed where they'd go after this in their sound. Thankful Heart is a great worship song.

I never really liked Petra till John Schlitt came on board with this album. It wasn't until much later that I started listening to the Volz material. Every song on here is a keeper but I went with Thankful Heart.

the least listened to of all their albums I own... bought it new in 86 and I bet I've never even listened to it 50xs since then.... saw that tour with Degarmo and Key.... and DK blew them completely away... completely....

DK had energy and Petra just stood there..... literally in one spot for the whole show.... yawn....

I saw Petra on the Back To The Streets tour in 87 in Crystal Beach Canada. Bryan Duncan opened the show. I remember Petra coming out on stage and John Schlitt's mic wasn't working. They gave him a new mic for the second song. I thought they really put on a good show. Then I remember the ride home arguing with my older brother and some of the kids in youth group over whether John Schlitt or Greg X Volz were a better singer. I was the only one who liked Schlitt.
