Intro

Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce myself. My names Henry Livna some folks call me Hank but I prefer Henry. I'm not real clever about comin up with a cool screen name so I just used my last name if that's alright. I found this forum after clicking on a link on someone's signature on Christian Metal Realm. I lurked for a little bit and thought it was pretty cool. I like mainly classic Christian Metal but I'm drawn more to the heavier side like Deliverance and Mortification. Been a fan since the early 80's. 

A few other things about myself. I'm from down south. South Carolina to be exact. I work in construction. I also enjoy fishin and barbecuing. And when I'm not listening to metal I'm listening to country.  Well I'm looking forward to hanging out with you guys.

Welcome to our little family Livna !  You will find we are a very laid back family, like to have fun (as well as poke fun at each other), we're serious about God's Truth, love our music (though I'm probably one of maybe 2 here that also like country music), and we love to have welcome a new face ! 

Make yourself at home and feel free to use our swimming pool... (wait, what do you mean we don't have a swimming pool ?)

Welcome Henry!  Yes, we mostly like to poke fun at Jim for liking country, so you'll fit right in...    Unfortunately, we do not have a swimming pool, but if you've seen pictures of any of us, I'm sure you'd agree that it's probably for the better.

Hey there! It fascinates me that you listen to both metal and country. I don't know a lot of people like that. That's cool.

Howdy Henry. I like country too, so Jim's not alone. I also like dub step, jazz, blues, gospel, opera, classical ,and even polka during Octoberfest!   Like, however, my tastes usually lean to the heavier; harder, faster, louder!

Wow ! You, my friend, are even more eclectic than I. People are usually surprised to hear the long list of musical styles I love.... but I've never been able to add Opera or Polka to that list. A million years ago when I was in college, I listened to a lot of classical music while I studied (Chopin, Beethoven, Grieg, Bach and tons more - and still listen to these albums occasionally) and I tried listening to some opera a friend gave me, but just couldn't do it.
And to be fair, I've never really given Polka a fair chance... so I may have to open my mind and listen to some.

A world where, just over a week ago, we were praying and fasting, and holding candlelight vigils for someone who "had" to go to a country concert (you know who you are) but now claims to be a fan. I feel like this should belong somewhere on the homepage or "about CHM" or maybe in an automated email response to every person who signs up here...

Hey guys thanks for the welcome. Maybe some day there will be a swimming pool but do you have a weight room?

If we had a weight room, we would have to exercise.

yeh, but we're trying to work all that weight off.... oh, you mean a room with waits ? Some rooms take longer than others, but most are pretty fast.
