^I'd tend to agree.  In the Bible, God does indeed use dreams to speak to people, though I can't think of any times in there He's used strange coincidences to do so.  It doesn't mean He doesn't... but I wouldn't put too much weight into it.

It'd be interesting to do a study on God's voice in dreams throughout the Bible and look at the circumstances, reasoning, etc. to see if there's much of any similarities, parallels, and the like that you'd be able to draw from it.  Historically, why does God choose to speak to His people in that way?  What are you going through right now (or those around you) that may be similar to the situations in the Bible?  I'd probably try to look at it that way.

Fair enough... I just don't like coincidences - in my experience they usually mean something else is going on that I'm missing... I'm trying not to freak out tho...

Thanks for your patience and advice.

I've been in situations like that where I end up analyzing anything and everything, and the truth is you will find these coincidences just because you are looking for them.  It's an awareness thing.  I wouldn't worry about it, go back to plan A and add a little stress management.

Good call. I talked with my pastor again last night and he kind of said the same thing - I'm too aware of it. He suggested I pray and be specific with God - like "Show me in a way I'll understand if this is from you."

Thanks Deepfriar.
