"For Fans Of..." (help G/F please)

As discussed on another thread, I am going to post band names here and would like everyone's help in identifying:
1. Who the band sounds like
2. The Christian band "X" would be great for someone who likes the mainstream band "Y" (For Fans Of....)
3. If I already have bands for comparison, are they BAD comparisons ? Which bands should I remove ?

I'll just post by letter. I'll start with "numbers" and the letter A. 
(Betcha haven't heard of some of these)

I'm not sure who I would compare Atomic Opera to, but it certainly wouldn't be Soundgarden...not alike at all IMO.

Thanks -another example of a reference I got from someone at CMR. I never even listened to Soundgarden so I just trusted them.... bad move on my part.
Who WOULD they compare to ?

Yep, but I have no idea where it went. I just wanna update my website to be more accurate. I don't know that the previous list we made even has the band's I'm listing.

Also, I could probably dig around the CMR archives and find it because it was posted there...

There's someone that sounds like Symphony X, or at least can be compared to them!?  I am very keen for this! I see that After Omega are no more, although three of the members evolved (or rather, devlolved?) into the band Bastard Chain (!!??  Look it up on FB; very strange).

Anyhow, After Omega gave up on releasing their album and instead gave it away via rapidshare.com, a file sharing service that is no more.  As this more or less officially makes it "out of print" (or "never was in print"), does anyone have it to share or know where I can find it?

I actually have kings x on there already, but I was looking for more Mainstream comparisons that are a little more well known.

Other than King's X, Galactic Cowboys is the only other band I've heard with that type of sound.

I've only heard one or two songs from Atomic Opera, but this tune certainly has the guitar groove from some of Alice in Chains heavier stuff.  Guess I need to check out more from AO.

Some of these bands I haven't heard so I am going to take a day or 2 to listen to them all and I will post something for as many as i can by this weekend. Must say I am discovering some new bands here that I might want to buy...

Atomic opera for me would be (alice in chains, precious death, kings x)

And just think.... I'm barely through with "A" 

20/20 Blind doesn't sound anything like King's X.  As for Galactic Cowboys, I have no clue.

I always thought 20/20 Blind sounded a bit more like Warrant's 2nd album.
