| This is a little large, but if I shrink it, I'm afraid you won't be able to see it for what it is. Not sure if the writting at the bottom includes the date, but I read that it was 1918.

| Sure doesn't look anywhere near that number of people - must be quite an illusion. The first row is 17 and most rows are less than that so there must be over 1000 rows of men. Nonetheless, it's pretty cool.

| The rows in the distance would be many more than 17 because of the perspective. Especially in the torch there must be 50 - 100 per row just to make the statue look correct.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. There is that strange perspective thing going on that would require considerably more people the farther you go back.
Just imagine how long those poor guys had to stand there.

| I made the paper again. Can't really tell but I'm wearing my ultra-cool Strangeland t-shirt.  And here are my 2 younger boys and I with alldat and you can sort of see my wife in the window.
