CHM picture thread!

Here I am with my lovely wife just yesterday as we were heading back home from Arizona.

Dug up this old relic. That's me in 1988 in front of the Super-Hero truck that stopped a Camaro full of thieves who ran a stop sign.... true story !
 

The feathered hair is rockin'.  

No one has posted here in a while so i thought I would add some photos from last summer.

There is a lake a block or two from our house so we walked down to the water one afternoon when it was very hot.

Oldest daughter with our youngest on the left and our grand-daughter on the right (she is OLDER than my youngest daughter!).

Not sure why they look a little fuzzy but I took them with my iPod so that may explain it.

Here's a Lizard that rode with me to work. I noticed him while driving down the road. He made it all the way there and never let go.



Taken last week. She saw this cowgirl hat and just had to have it. How can you say no to someone like this?


This is the St. George Lighthouse on St. George Island. I think it cost 5 bucks to go in it. I took this with my iPod but used one of those color enhancement/filter apps to bring out the color.

A few more.. This is an old photo. I am not in it, but my buddy Chuck scanned these and sent them to me. I met him in 1980. We were life long friends. He was killed in a car accident on Thanksgiving Day 2013. I think about him every day. I was closer to him than my actual brothers. 

The green house in the background is where we lived in 1980. We rented the house behind his. He was the first friend I met when we moved to Tennessee. We only lived there for a year but we bought a house in the same neighborhood so we still lived very close to each other. This was taken the week we moved in (i figured that out by the cardboard box in my backyard. We bought a fridge that week and my older bro made it into a space ship for me. 


This is the last time I saw him, a couple of summers ago when he and his wife and daughter came to Panama City Beach for vacation.

A nice beach we like to go to, Crooked Island, about 15 minutes away. Very secluded and never anyone there. But there are no bathrooms so we don't stay very long.

I work at a paper mill. The company owns an old Victorian home across the street and once a year they host Family Fun Day.




They had a FREE ice cream truck! I hung out here most of the time!

I'm gonna try to remember to upload some of the "Throwback Thursday" pictures I have been posting on my facebook account. I figure some might get a kick out of them.

Yep. Used to be Smurfit-Stone then RockTenn bought us out. This mill has been here since 1931.

Staybrite: Would love to see some old photos. Those are always fun. I have none scanned and most of the old photos are back at my parents so I don't have access to them but they are cool to see!

This is my wife and I back in High school (yep the same girl in my avatar). We were dating back then and this is probably late 1985 or early 1986.  Yes those are white Levi 501 jeans I am wearing with a knit sweater that I am pretty sure my mother or grandmother knitted for me.   

I had a pair of white 501's.  And red.  And black.  And purple.

I did white, black and the standard blue, but I wasn't brave enough to try the red, purple or other unique colors.

Awesome! I used to love 501's but don't wear Levi's anymore. Do they still make button flys?.... As for my hair, I have had the same style since about 1987 or so... So i pretty much look the same I guess.

I have to confess I haven't worn a pair of Levi's in probably close to 20 years (just can't afford them anymore).
