Yeah, because if it was Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and you really liked it then you will LOVE the others!  Laughing

My star wars bummer storie is this..I saw the 3 originals back in the 70s/early 80s on the big screen so I was interested in seeing the ones that came out later until I saw them..episodes 1,2 and 3 were ok but not that great and what the heck was this...

Jar Jar Binks ruined the movie to me....

I believe that Vonnie watched the 2009 reboot called Star Trek if memory serves me.  My memory doesn't usually serve me, though.

I still think she needs to watch Star Trek Into Darkness as well.

Thanks Chris for this reminder.

I'll watch Star Trek Into Darkness too.

I liked the Star Trek movie I've watched.

What do you think?
Is it so that men like Star Trek, Star Wars movies more than women do?

I would agree that more men like the Star Trek and Star Wars movies more than women do in general.  My wife really loves the Star Trek movies but isn't all that crazy about the Star Wars movies.  All my boys and I have liked both the Star Trek and Star Wars movies (my youngest boy was a real Star Wars junkie for several years).  My daughter on the other hand could care less about any of them and hasn't even bothered to see most of the movies.

My wife loves all 6 Star Wars movies and doesn't care that much for Trek. She loves Deep Space 9 and Next Gen and doesn't really care for the original series or the new movies. But I will say she doesn't seem interested in a new trilogy of Star Wars movies.

My wife can't stand star wars, but grew up watching -and loves- star trek.  Go figure.
