Vinyl!

For some reason I thought they only had one album.  I guess you learn something new every day.

If I'm correct, Contagious had 3 albums.  Be Ready (the one I own) was their first in '87. Free Indeed came out in '88 and they had a '91 album called "Long Time Comin'"... however, that last one was given to me by someone who wasn't sure if it was the same band.  The songs aren't clearly Christian, whereas their first 2 releases were very Christian lyrically.

So it could be like all the other Christian bands that have names other secular bands had as well. Hard to tell. Someday I'll hafta give it a good listen and see if the sounds are the same.

Mine was 1971's "Wish We'd All Been Ready" by Randy Matthews... from a thrift store about 20 years ago....still got it !

Probably Petra Captured In Time & Space. I didn't have a lot of Christian vinyl by this time I was buying mostly cassettes. I also had Bloodgood's debut & To Hell W The Devil with the angel cover on vinyl.

Stryper...yellow and black attack. To be honest back then I would never ever had considered a christian album if stryper wasn't being played on MTV and the radio 9I kinda didn't even realize that stryper was a christian band at first......
