Metallica at church? Don't think so!

But, I CAN play "Enter Sandman" if need be on either bass or guitar. Someone else will have to provide the leads, though.

Metallica in church?
What about to make Christian lyrics of the songs of Metallica?

I remember some years ago we played "Child Of Mine" of Siloam in church because the lyrics are so beautiful.
We saw a several older people leaving church.

Now guys when we can read what you will play on New Years Eve?

Yes, you could "cover" Apologetix tunes (kinda like a double cover tune).

Sad to think someone would leave during such a great song.

How it goes with the preparations for the New Years Eve gig?
Are it only songs or is there a sermon too?
I would love to know what songs you are going to play.

I'll be preaching as well. I still haven't gotten my sermon together, but it will come. I think I know what I'll use. However, I have been known to prepare a message and feel like God wanted me to use something else when I got up to speak.

If our song list from last year or from the Wilson Co. Fair back in the summer is still floating around, we are doing mostly those same songs. We have added Kutless' "Strong Tower" and "We Fall Down". Also, we are doing a more guitar oriented version of Chris Tomlin's "Amazing Grace (Our Chains Are Gone)".

Cool to add the Kutless songs.
I remember there is a Mission Of One song "We Fall Down" too.
Will that song be on the third Mission Of One CD too?

That's soo cool to see the Holy Spirit working in this.
It shows me that it's God who let you know what sermon first the best to the people you have to preach too.

Actually, the Mission Of One song is called "I Fall Down", and it will be on the new CD.
