Random Ramblings

The kids of the school not far from me are singing Christmas carols in our neighborhood.
I love the voices of the kids in the dark, the sound of the music to tell the neighborhood Jesus was born on Christmas.

That's cool.  We don't have many carolers in our neighborhood . . . might offend someone

  Thanks!  Mrs Staybrite has decided that our grandson will call us Oma & Opa.  It is taking some getting used to on my part.

I'm in the plane now. We haven't started yet. This will be interesting. First we go to Philadelphia, then we go to the Bahamas. I have a window seat right by the wing.

Funny, I have a family member who went to the Bahamas a couple months ago.

That's interesting. I'm spending time here with my family. It's a good thing my auntie can drive the Bahamian way. They drive on the left.

I've always wanted to visit a country with left-hand drive, let alone drive there.

That's tough. I know it would be in Nassau. Here there aren't as many traffic lights or stop signs as there are in the US, Canada, or UK. It's just crazier, too. Everyone is speedling along these narrow roads. Even buses and huge trucks. If you really want to drive on the left, go to the UK or somewhere safer. It's also best to have someone used to driving on the left with you.

The buses here are adorable. They use jitney buses. They work well for the narrow roads, though. They can really get around.

I've seen plenty of vehicles with dents in them. Everyone is rushing to get somewhere.

I think this is the first time I'm ready for Christmas to be over before it gets here. Gotta re-focus.
