| So I was going through my "Thee Final Chaptre" ritual (every four or five years I do some searching to see if the album has, against all odds, been released on CD), when a Google search link took me to the CHM. I thought, wow, it's been what, two or three years since I visited CHM. Turns out I haven't logged in here for a few days short of seven years. Seven years?!
So I skimmed a few threads (too cool to discover that Zaxas has a new album after twenty years), and I was getting ready to move on when I figured instead of just making a hit and run, I'd make a quick post to say hello to everyone. I wouldn't expect anyone to remember me. I'm not sure *I* remember me. But just in case, hello from Disposable HERO, that ghost from the past.

Mike, the avatar is the cover of the box to a 1988 video game called Titan. Back in the 1990s, the days of those giant SCSI flatbed scanners, I scanned in the boxes for a bunch of old video games. I have no idea how this jpeg survived so many years and different machines without falling victim to data corruption or deletion. | |
