Just so you know...

I know everyone hates posts where people announce they're leaving but...

I'm unplugging from here (and maybe Facebook) for the month of December (maybe longer, depending on how it goes). I consider some of you guys around here friends but honestly, this board causes a lot of stress in my life that I could do without.

Just posting for the few who may wonder - I'll be somewhere else for a while.

Hate to see ya go.  Also hate to hear that it causes you stress. I find the opposite, quite enjoyable and unstressful for me.  But do what you need to do and God be with.

Ok, just don't delete the account so we don't get the dreaded "Guest" and I have to figure out who is who in threads.

I'm all for removing unecessary drama from your life.  I'm sorry that CHM is one of those places for you.

I hate to go into details, so I'll spare you. I just evaluated my life and this is something I can cut back on or completely stop to make things simpler and more manageable. I'll likely check in from time to time but today will probably be my last day of posting.

I bailed out once a few years ago (this was even before Facebook I believe).  Didn't really do it consciously, as it was just a rough time I was going through. And I'll tell ya what, it did my heart SO good to get emails from a handful of members who wondered if I was ok.  Been back ever since... you can't buy that kind of friendship... (well, I guess you could, but it would be shallow - haha !!)
