| It's the sound of my bank account draining. I am sitting on the side of the road in my Freightliner, having a universal joint replaced. $1.30/mile for the mechanic to come here and $91/hour for labor PLUS the new U-joint....I may cry all the way home... | |

| Ouch $91 an hour? I think you can get some lawyers cheaper than that. Hope it doesn't take too long. What about your cargo? _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| That's what you get for not driving a Pete. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Actually, I will overlook your original remark, considering you're retarded... When all is said and done, I had a horrible experience that only took $1200 of my hard earned dollars.....FOR A FRIGGING UNIVERSAL JOINT ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! | |

| Glad to hear the universal joint is fixed. Toooooo bad you had to pay $ 1.200 to get it fixed. Do you all laugh very hard when I ask what a Pete is? | |

For those with brains, Freighliner and Volvo are the real choices. What about Mack or Kenworth? My sister-in-law used to work at the Kenworth plant in Renton (here in Western Washington) at the same time that Gary Ridgeway (the Green River killer worked there). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | Mack has good trucks, if you need a dumptruck, but nothing worthwhile for over the road use. Sterling (formerly Ford)=Garbage International-Decent enough in recent years, but the interior comfort needs work. Kenworth...Western Star...Pete...same/same. | |
