Your favorite 80's bands.

What are your favorite 80's bands?
I know the 80's are a long time ago and I also know you never post in a poll the favorite bands of all people.

I like all but Apostle as I've never heard them before. I think Whitecross would've probably fit in to this poll better then Whiteheart also. I went with Neon Cross based mostly on their first album.

On this list, I would have to take Stryper!

I also love Apostle, and quite a bit of Idle Cure. But, I.C. always had several keyboard/saxaphone pop songs on their first couple of projects. So, I could only listen to about half of those. But, their last three projects were awesome.

I really dig Apostle, Idle Cure, White Heart, Stryper, and Neon Cross.
But I had to go with Saint for this poll.

Idle Cure and White Heart both really knew how to write memorable rock and pop rock songs.

Stryper, just because of the effect they had on the music scene. All the bands are good though!

I just hope it really happens, not like the rumors of reissuing the Mastedon albums that never seems to happen.

Stryper gets my vote too.
It was the first Christan band I ever listened to.
Sometimes I still have Stryper moods and love it it listen to their CDs.

Very close between Stryper and Whiteheart. I love both bands so much.

Looks like Stryper is the winner in this round.

Wow, this thread is like a major blast from the past! I still love all those bands (although my fandom for Apostle has slipped substantially). I would still love to see Neon Cross put out another album.

I like them all, but had to go with Whiteheart. They were the first band I really got into, and Freedom is possibly the best Christian rock disc ever.

I'm ok with Stryper, and I haven't heard much of the other bands, but I really like Saint. So that's who I voted for.

I was going to pick to Apostle and Saint cuz it said "favorite bandS" but it only let me pick one, so it had to be Saint.
Though I love Stryper, I actually like the vox on all their later works. Same goes with White heart, their 80s stuff was so-so, I much prefer their albums released in the 90s.
Neon Cross is good but never wowed me much and despite their talent, idle cure is kind of boring to me.

For me, it is Saint!
