I'll have to say Merry Christmas as well. I was feeling so Grinchy myself until about a week ago. Through the plant where I work, I got the opportunity to play Santa for some kids at a school near where I work. I only had to see 680 kids in 4 hours! But, I had a blast! It put things back into perspective for me: Christmas is about giving YOURSELF to others--not just gifts. I gave some time to these kids, and I received the bigger blessing.

I wish that I could have shared the Christmas story (of Jesus, not Ralphie shooting his eye out) with the kids, but I couldn't do it legally. My highpoint of the day came when a little first grade girl told ME about Jesus' birthday. I told her that that was the best Christmas ever, too. She smiled. My Christmas came right then and there.

Playing Santa today probably helped!

Just so you all know, my wife asked Sabidoo to play Santa for our great-nephews & neice this afternoon. They don't know Sabidoo, so he made an excellent choice to play the part. I was going to do it, but I wanted to watch the boys since they are ages 4 & 5. They loved having a private visit from Santa!
