Wasn't really into music, as pop wasn't my thing, but that was all I heard on TV and the radio. By my late teens I had found out about Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi etc.

Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi

What are some of your favorite bands NOW ?
Theocracy, Petra, Signum Regis
If you could be a roadie for one band for one tour, who would it be?
Wouldn't want to do that at all!
If you had the power to bring a band back from being broke up, or back from the dead, which band would that be ?
Original Tourniquet, although if they did come back together I doubt it would have the same punch.
What band do you own EVERY studio album they released ?
Bride, Whitecross, Petra, Theocracy, Seventh Avenue, Stairway, Mission Of One! and many more
What band did you start out LOVING, then as they went on, you disliked ?
Not sure...

Never asked them.

A couple of local bands, but nothing more.

Wow, you have every Bride album ? That's actually very cool. I have a LOT of Bride albums, but I'm nowhere near completing the collection.

What is the earliest album you can remember owning that you liked a lot ?
Bad Co. debut. I was in Kindergarten and my brother had it. Probably 1976? Absolutely LOVED it! (I had also discovered the Monkees earlier but did not own any albums, only 45's so Bad Co. is the first album).
What's your top 3 favorite styles of music (#1 being your fav of all)?
Album Rock (70's rock), 80's Metal, even older stuff (Jazz or big band type stuff, Les Baxter, Martin Denny, D. Schory, Esquivel).
What was your first concert ?
PRIEST! With Great White opening. Defenders Of The Faith tour.
What was the first concert that you really loved ?

What were some of the first albums you ever bought on your own?
Non-music. Power Records (stuff like Planet Of The Apes, Star Trek, Hulk, Six Million Dollar Man & GI Joe). Music-wise I usually bought 45's. I think my first albums were probably Styx records.
What was the name of the Music store that you bought your music from as a teenager ?
Record Bar or Music Isle.
What was your favorite style of music as a teenager ?
Styx style rock. Heavy harmonies, guitars and keyboards
What were some of your favorite bands as a teenager ?
Styx, The Outfield were the top two. VH, Stryper, Barren Cross, Motley and any hair metal as I was a teen during the 80's.
What are some of your favorite bands NOW ?
See previous question. My styles in music have not changed.
If you could be a roadie for one band for one tour, who would it be?
Styx, Van Halen, Stryper, The Outfield, Jimi Hendrix (on CD & vinyl - some i have on CD, some I have on vinyl), Beatles (on CD and vinyl - I have all of them on CD & vinyl). And I guess RECON would count since they only have one album (on CD & vinyl). I think I have Grave Robber's releases (as digital downloads, but I have the last one they released in 7 inch vinyl).
If you had the power to bring a band back from being broke up, or back from the dead, which band would that be ?
Styx - with Dennis DeYoung or Steve Perry in Journey (if he could pull it off).

What band did you start out LOVING, then as they went on, you disliked ?
I'll be opposite here and say VR. Hated them when they came out but I have to be in the mood for them now. I own the first 3 (Intense Millennium).
What band/artist do you like that your parent(s) also like ?
Beatles or Styx
What band member(s) have you met in person ?
Dennis DeYoung, Tommy Shaw, James JY Young, Kenny Chesney, Jack Blades, Sass Jordan, Saigon Kick, Black Crowes, Pete Anderson (country artist and producer for Dwight Yoakum), Aaron Tippin, Terri Clark, Rodney Atkins, Randy Castillo (drummer for Ozzy R.I.P) and a few others I may have forgotten about. In the early 90's I worked at a radio station while in college and got back stage passes for a lot of shows. I had passes to meet Bad Company in the 90's but my date didn't want to go back stage so I didn't go. Darn her!! Should've went anyway. I also went to high school with Travis Wyrick who went on to produce Disciple, Pillar, etc. In high school he was in a Van Halen type band and I saw them numerous times around Knoxville, they were awesome. NO - I do not like country music but worked in country radio in the mid 90's. I learned to tolerate it but I know hate it with a passion.

I left radio around 2005. The pay was lousy so I took another job out of the field. They asked me to stay on part time so I did for about a year. When Styx came to Panama City in 2006 I was selected to introduce them on stage. At this point Dennis was no longer with them but for me it was a dream come true. Since I finally did what I wanted to do I quit radio permanently the next day and never went back. I had accomplished all I ever dreamed and to me nothing would ever top that.

Oh, an "almost meet"... When Motley Crue toured for Dr. Feelgood we were sitting on the first level above the floor. Near the soundboard. I saw a pretty blonde sitting there between sets. I kept looking at her.... Then I said "Hey HEATHER!". She instantly looked my way and smiled. I waved at her, got out a sharpie and motioned "sign for me please". She said "OK!". As I started to go to the floor the security guy said "NO, she is off limits". Then she looked at me and said "Sorry!". It was Heather Locklear and at the time she was married to Tommy Lee. I was suprised no one else noticed her until I said something to her.

I've a lot of Bride, Stryper but not all. I think I've all Mission Of One albums.

I don't have that.

My mom was not a music fan, but my dad like Glenn Kaiser and Darell Mansfield.

The members of Whitecross, Rex D. Scott, some Empire 21 members, Christian Liljegren, Troy Thompson.

Boston. Their first album was amazing and I still regularly listen to it. But everything after that sounded like a bad imitation.

What are some of your favorite bands NOW ? I don't really have favorites now. I really enjoy quality music. Artist i really have come to appreciate over the years are: U2, Sting, Genesis, Peter Gabriel.

What band do you own EVERY studio album they released ? quite a few that only released one or two albums. I do have The Beatles box set and own pretty much all 2nd chapter of acts. There's a lot where i'm missing one or two albums, like Bride, Bloodgood, U2, Sting, The Police.

What band member(s) have you met in person? I met quite a view when i worked at GMI Music (Provident Distribution Europe), Most of them did not leave an impression on me. They just said hi and let me do my job. Kevin Max made a big impression on me (even though he is a small guy). I was just a 21 year old kid picking orders at the time. He told me i had the most important job in the business Very Happy

Eli, is a great guy! I met him at an "Alliance Music" day which completely failed btw since only 4 people showed up. Anyway Eli and his wife were special guests. He talked about how he became a christian and played a few songs from his first Forefront album. (I forgot what his real name is. I know he recorded one album before he became Eli).

-My dad made me a tape of Beatles on one side and Beach Boys and Jan And Dean on the other that I LOVED. But the first album I had was probably a tape my aunt and uncle gave me of The W's back in middle school. I also really liked The O.C. Supertones.

What's your top 3 favorite styles of music (#1 being your fav of all)?
-Doom/death metal, black metal, and maybe gothic american (a la Wovenhand and 16 Horsepower) or possibly heavy or power metal...

What was your first concert ?
-Sounds Of The Undergound 2005 with Gwar, Opeth, Norma Jean, Unearth, and Lamb Of God headlining.

What was the first concert that you really loved ?
-Becoming The Archetype (2007 I believe, Physics Of Fire timeframe)

What were some of the first albums you ever bought on your own?
-Metallica's early albums, Iron Maiden - Edward The Great (greatest hits)

-Rasputin Records and Streetlight Records

-Maiden, duh! Plus I'd get to fly in Ed Force One!!!

If you had the power to bring a band back from being broke up, or back from the dead, which band would that be ?
-Virgin Black or maybe Becoming The Archetype since it seems like they've pretty much ceased to exist as a band these days too...

-So I'm pretty OCD about collecting music from bands... Just about all the bands I listen to I own all of their full-lengths and some all of their EP's and singles and such too.

What band did you start out LOVING, then as they went on, you disliked ?
-Metallica. Just got too angry for me.

What band/artist do you like that your parent(s) also like ?
-Musk Ox

What band member(s) have you met in person ?
-Becoming The Archetype, Alcest, Filip from Within Silence, Norma Jean, Above The Storm (friends of mine haha), John Gossard from Weakling/Dispirit/The Gault/Asunder, and maybe a few others.
