picture sharing

Dropbox is doing away with their "public" folder. Technically they did away with it a few years ago, but those that used it before that had a way where we could continue to use it, and that's how I post pictures to forums like this. Now, however, they have stated that the ability share images and other files from the "public" folder will be completely removed in a couple of months. Which leaves me looking for a new way to share pictures.

What are the ways some of you folks post pictures here and in other forums?

If they're pictures from Facebook, you can link them in.

Linking is a possibility, and it may still work with Dropbox. I'll have to give that a try.

You can upload them to the board by using the little picture icon when you write your posts.  I do it all the time and upload them straight from my desktop.

I have used Photobucket for years.  You upload the picture to photobucket (free account) and they give you several formats for the picture link.

I've never done that because I assumed there was a limit

I used to use Photobucket years ago before I discovered Dropbox. I don't remember why I quit, but I think it may have had something to do with how the pictures didn't show up right on a motorcycle forum I belong to.
