Having Trouble With Lyrics

Here's a silly thread anyone and everyone can add to. Some of these can be really hilarious.

You just post what you HEAR in lyrics of any songs, mainstream or Christian, and post them here.

For example, I heard this song on the radio today and honestly have no idea what they say at certain parts - so I'm posting what I hear:

"A mouse is the lion, it's disco and grime, and I'm hungry like the wolf" 

What song lyrics do you mis-hear, and what do you THINK you hear ? Let's read some hilarious examples 

"Hush hush, keep it down down. This is scary"

I actually like REM a whole lot but that song messed with my head for a long time... and I thought ABBA was really violent for a disco band. Imagine how stupid I felt when I learned the actual lyrics...

I always sing this one with the wrong lyrics intentionally.
"Blinded by the lice, crawled down from my hair and got into my eyes."

That Elton John song "Tiny Dancer" is fun too.
"Hold me closer Tony Dazna, count the head lice on the highway...."


Hmm, I seem to have an unnatural fascination with lice...that can't be healthy.

Not just cuz it's funny, but cuz it's SO TRUE ! There were many Petra songs I could not understand what Schlitt was singing, but I've actually sung VERY similar words to that Judas Kiss song.. LOL !!

That was actually Greg X. Volz originally, but I know what you mean about Schlitt.  One of my friends was convinced "Stand in the Gap" was actually "Send Him Again."  He ended up writing a song called "Send Him Again" because of it.

All these years I still don't know what Joe Elliott is singing:

"Living like a bomb baby come and get it on, Living like a lover with a red eyed phone"

I had to look it up to make sure I was right, but I actually knew what he sings:

Ah ! Ok, that kinda makes more sense... I think...

  My mother had that album and I used to hear that song all the time as kid...hilarious!
