Ohhhhh, identity crisis. I just found out that NZ's best selling cracker for a gazillion and one years is based on the even older Ritz cracker of American fame. I'm so ashamed!

BTW, what IS that orange stuff on the Ritz cracker?

Yeah, it's the same processed cheese food product that is used in Kraft mac 'n cheese and cheese popcorn.

You've never had cheese popcorn?  Personally I think the only thing better is Chicago style.  It's a blend of cheddar cheese flavored popcorn and caramel popcorn.  Mmmm.  Good eats.


My problem was a sick kid that kept waking up crying because his throat hurt so badly.  It was probably 4am before I actually got to sleep and then the alarm went off at 7.

Oh that's nasty. Poor boy. I hope tonight is better for you all.

Interview period is during two weeks in February, then the whole matching process is in mid-February. Essentially, there's one day where all the employers' preferences for students are put up, and then students come and circle their preferences according to employers' preferences. It's a bit flyé, but it should turn out well. Hopefully.

This. Chicago style is awesome. I actually make St Louis style (that’s what I call it) by taking Chicago style and adding peanuts to it.

You guys eat such fancy popcorn! I eat it neat and if I'm feeling fancy I add a dash of salt. Gosh that sounds boring when I see it on the page. Guess I just like the taste of corn. lol

I will eat popcorn if it is covered in cheese.  I will even eat it if it is covered with caramel.  But, to eat it plain, I won't do it.  It feels like you are eating cardboard and it grosses me out.

I best like my popcorn with butter or caramel. Cheese seems a bit wrong to me for some reason, even though butter is right.

Pop your corn in bacon grease.

Back when I could eat popcorn I used to smother it in real butter and powdered Parmesan cheese.

I've had Buffalo popcorn and I have to say it is quite awesome.

Currently teaching my friend how to drive standard. He's 33 and I'm 21. It feels kinda fun to teach someone older how to do something. He's doing pretty good, just needs to work on smoothness and hill starts, especially since our town is nothing but hills. I'm teaching him so that he can borrow my car; he works in the next town over, and he and his wife currently share a van, so he often has to get rides or take the bus.

I used to be able to drive a stick shift.  However, I haven't tried since 1993.  I am sure that I could do it.  I am just lazy and prefer automatic transmissions.  I don't even know if I know anyone who drives a stick anymore.
