Demon Hunter

Hey guys. Any Demon Hunter fans here? They've got two albums -- WAR and PEACE -- set to be released March 1st. Pre-orders available now. Y-E-S-S-S-S-s-s-s-s-s-s-!-!-!-!-!

Too heavy for me!  While I know that they incorporate a lot of clean vox now, their harsher vocal style I just don't like.  That kind of vocals just make me tune a band out.  Yes, I realize that eventually there will be no new Christian metal bands for me to like in the styles I prefer.  I am okay with that.

I am an old fuddy duddy and proud of it!  

Too nu-metal for me (I don't mind the heaviness), though I have seen them live once or twice and they do put on a great show.

Yep, same here really.  They're good, but not really my thing.  I have their 2nd album (Summer Of Darkness) but that's all.  What they do they do really well.

I enjoy them when I'm in the mood, The Tryptych is a great album.

I haven't really listened to their past two releases so I'm a bit behind on their newer sound.

I'm the exact opposite. I love so many styles of music and so many styles of metal. Give me heavy, give me melodic, give me nu, give me hair, give me....music...  ...music...   ...gimme music.

I just like variety

I wish I liked them, they are a local band (or at least used to be) and play in Seattle on occasion...but I just can't get into this style (nu-metal, metalcore...whatever it is).

My biggest problem with them is that they don't really hunt demons.

I've got my pre-order in for this.  Demon Hunter is the band that got me back in to Christian metal and they are the only band that I make a point to get the physical product (the deluxe version) of.

Listening to the download of War...not disappointed at all.

I also came across this video that just cracks me up.  The Biblical discussion at the end is interesting, but watching these two listen to the song is just hilarious.  It reminds me of the SNL NPR sketches.

Peace was gnarly.  I'm a couple of tracks into War...whoa Nelly!

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I've been waiting for this release impatiently. Glad to hear it's living up to expectations.

So Peace was sitting on my doorstep as a gift as I have no money right now. It's good, Alldat might even enjoy it as the vocals are 98% clean. When the Devil Come is a very interesting track, almost southern rockish and the best song on the album at first blush.
