Freak Show by Joshua's Creed

Here's a sample of Freak Show with vocals all mixed and mastered by our very own Chris Dickens.  I'm not going to speculate on a release date yet but The American Dream may very well be released by the end of the year. Or possibly early 2020.

Thanks!  I thought the Mad Hatter scene would go well with Freak Show.  So I just cut a 1 minute section of it and popped the music in.  It actually lined up quite surprisingly well!

I had more influence on this song than just the mastering.  Derek gave me the opportunity to try to sing this before he found his current vocalist.  I didn't quite fit the artistic vision of this and I was okay with Derek deciding to use someone else.  That was our agreement from the start.  Anyway, some of the vocal lines are performed the way he did them on his demo to me.  The choruses were sang vocally more like I had done them.  I just morphed what he did to a pitch I could hit.  So, there isn't any actual writing on my behalf--just a little touch thrown in.

So, if this song is awesome, its because I worked on it.  If it sucks, blame the new guy!

Seriously, though, this song is pretty cool!  I love how you tackle the issues in the song head on!

Thanks!  All of this junk being shoved down our throats as "normal" is everything but normal.  All the people with their antics about the nonsense are putting on a show.  Thus the title, Freak Show.

I like the musical direction and lead vocalist.

Thanks!  I thought Dillon's voice was a perfect fit and he did an excellent job on the first album.  I do think Andrew's voice is a much better match for us.
