Stryper - God grrrrrr Evil

Really digging this album at the moment, and I think the first 4 songs are superb. Take It To The cross I absolutely love now, although at the time I had some reservations!
As an album I reckon it's just as good as Fallen, and better than most of No More Hell To Pay. All three of these albums I think are great.

Except for that song, I like the album and agree with the rest of your mini-review.

I'm glad you enjoy it. It didn't do much for me. It sounded tired to me, like Michael has been writing too much and not culling songs nor really working songs out. It's paint-by-numbers Stryper to me. I thought NMHTP and Fallen were miles better.

But, really, shouldn't we all Grrrr at evil?! Mad

I like it quite a bit but feel the intro is too long on the first song. I still don't care for the "crust" song but I like it the same as the previous 2 albums. Ironically my favorite track is the title track which I cannot sing along to.

I can't seem to get into "Take it to the Cross" (the "crust" song. hee hee that's cute, Chris). I like the verses a lot, but their message "Take it to the cross" is repeated a whopping 51 times. Reckon they should have stopped at 50. geek

Love "The Valley." I find it very uplifting.

I pretty much can't stand the song "Take It to the Cross" but like Jen I really dig "The Valley". I also really like "Sorry" and "Can't Live Without Your Love"
