Not a Christian band, but a band with Christians. They've added a female singer for their new album, Santa Muerte (released last month)

I'm a huge fan of female fronted hard rock and metal....I was aware of this band but had only heard a few songs and they didn't immediately grab me. I notice they didn't replace their male singer, but added a second singer who is female. I actually dig this tune. I have to wonder if she sings on the entire album.

Nah, she doesn't. She's central on a few of them and then more of a supporting singer on the others. They needed to do it that way though to give fans time to adjust to the change.

I guess that makes sense. I just get the feeling that without her the band sounds kind of generic.

Oh totally. They're definitely a straight-up melodic rock/metal sound. Not a lot of cross over into other genres. I think the addition of Giorgia has expanded their sound (in a good way).

I've never heard any of these guys were Christians. Sinner has been around since 82 but Matt Sinner is mostly famous for his work with Primal Fear

Yes, and Primal Fear is definitely secular. But I always thought Mat Sinner was a Christian just choosing to be in a secular band with Christian themes. My bad.
I know they use the Bible stories as inspiration for many of their lyrics (much like Primal Fear).

They have and they also do songs like Delivering the Black that talk about making deals with the devil. I think they just like the imagery.
