Ever heard First Strike's demo?

It came out after their album on Exit when Exit folder. Different singer but the sound is intact and it sounds really good for a demo.

You mean the demo was recorded after the "Rock of Offense" album?
I'm not sure I've heard this before.

I'd love if all the First Strike material would get a proper reissue.

Didn't Retroactive or someone already try to and the band blocked it?

Nope, I've not heard First Strikes demo.

I wonder if they were working on songs when Exit folded so they became demo material. Strange situation.

I actually have the 4 song demo in 192 kbps MP3. Let me see what I can do with a proper mastering.

I am working on both of the albums. I have Cliffy's version, who formerly posted at CMR, of "Rock Of Offense. After listening to my remaster of Crank It Up!, they aren't the same. So, I am trying to tweak Cliffy's already awesome version. When I am done, I will put both in a zip file and post a link here for anyone as they are both out of print.

Finally got a chance to listen. Well done Chris. You've done a great job of evening everything out. It would be way cool if you could get the original tracks. You'd be able to do something about the backing vocals (which make me kinda grrrrrrr because they're performed well but mixed poorly) and rescue the drummer from down his well in some of the tunes ("Don't let me Walk Away" especially).
I thoroughly enjoyed these though. Great job brother. Thanks for sharing them.
