What Is Best for You

Sometimes when you pray, it may seem as if God is not
answering your prayer, but He is . . . according to what is best for you. God is too good to do you wrong and too wise to make a mistake. He loves you too much to give you that which would harm you.
He gives only good gifts. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father.
(James 1:17).
God is willing and able to give you your heart’s desire as long as it is
within His will and according to His Word.

Lord, I know that You are answering my prayer according to
what is best for me.

My pastor told me a story about this man who prayed for his best friend to become a Christian. He prayed for almost 80 years for his friend to come to Christ. Finally when they were old men, the mans friend finally became a Christian.
God seems to do things in His own time.
