Ok bass players, time to step you your game. I expect both of you to have something this crazy talented on your next album.... I'm looking at you Alldat and Xid (I'm going to give RockerVu2 a pass since she is an amateur bass player).

If I had the time to sit around and play for 8-10 hours a day, I might could do something like that in a year or two. Sadly, my basses will never get to be played at that level.
That leaves Xid to do it!

I did check out a few more of his videos. Quite the talented bass player even if he plays it like it's a solo (or main) instrument. Kind of makes it a different thing altogether compared with typical electric bass in rock, pop or even metal.

Most fretless guitars/basses still have the dots indicating the fret placement on top of the neck (right where the player looks down). So even without frets the player can still determine their finger placement. But he is still ridiculously skilled.

Even with those dots on the sides you have to have your finger placement dead on when playing chords.
