New Bride?

New to me anyway. Didn't know about this 

It's 6 songs.  2 new ones, 2 that will be on Are You Awake, and 2 old ones.

I don't want to buy it, because it seems like a waste of money for just 2 songs, but I do collect most Bride stuff.  Going to have to think about this.  I didn't buy the Snakes and Kinetic demos, even though I have got pretty much everything else they've put out.

Hmm, what to do... hmm...

My gut is to not buy it, and just get the full album, although if Nordic Mission or Soundmass get both I may just get them together...

I am wondering if this will become available digitally.  I hate to pay $10 for two songs.

I asked if the extra two songs would be available digitally.  Matt Hunt of Retroactive said they will not.  

Eh...I guess I will sit this EP out as you really are only getting two songs you couldn't get otherwise.

I will wait for the full length album.  Knowing Retroactive, they will reissue this in about a year and add these two songs back to it to try to get people to buy this again.

Ain't No Loser is brilliant!

I thought Makes Me Want To Live Again was a solid tune, but not top drawer stuff.  But when I heard Ain't No Loser it immediately got me thinking back to when I first heard Head Looking For A Bullet off of This Is It.  That was such a 'grab you' type song.  Ain't No Loser sounds brilliant, so I'm looking forward to hearing it straight from the CD when I get around to ordering it.

I still don't think it is worth buying for 2 songs you can't get anywhere else.

Another new Bride song just released by Retroactive.

That isn't their strongest song, but it ain't bad.  It reminds me of the "Scarecrow Messiah" album with some of "The Jesus Experience" mixed in.

I like it alot. I think Ain't No Loser is the best I've heard of their new stuff (so far) and Makes Me Want To Live Again is their weakest.

The new full length album is to go on pre-sale at 8 PM tonight.  I don't know what time zone, so you will have to keep checking Boone's Overstock to see when it goes live.

Some of those packages are simply outrageous. One of them is $500.

I don't think that's all up to Dale.  I would guess it has more tondo with Retroactive.

I've got to wait for Nordic Mission to get copies.  I don't want to use Boones as their shipping is too expensive for me.

The pre-orders are shipping already.  I received notification that mine was on the way.

On first listen, this isn't grabbing me like other projects.  Musically, it's Bride.  I think, however, that I am burning out on the over abundance of Dale projects.  I will give it more spins, though, and give it a fiar shakedown.

I am going to give this a second listen today.  I was listening to the previous two a while ago as I prepared my sermon for tomorrow.  I am liking those albums nearly as much as Snakes In The Playground, Skin For Skin, and Scarecrow Messiah.  I hope this one grows on me to be loved that much as well.

I’m still waiting for Are You Awake? to be released digitally and for streaming before I purchase. So far it appears that hasn’t happened.
