There is some strange white stuff all over my yard! Could that be......snow? I've heard of it, but I've not really seen it in years.

It's strange. We are about 3 1/2 weeks from spring, and we finally got our first measurable snowfall. We got about a half inch.

We had one morning of snow last year, and so far this year we've had nothing. I love snow, so this lack of the white stuff is rather sad.

Ohhhh why do you get snow? I was hoping to get some snow too this winter. Even a little bit of that wonderful white stuff is enough for this winter.
I have danced many snow dances this winter but no snow here.
Snow is cool and I love it to go down the hills with the bob.
A snowball fight would be great too.

Alldat, I am not that far north of you and we have continually had snow this year. Not more than 3 inches at any one time mind you, except for once this winter we had about 5-6 inches at once. We keep getting ice, sleet, freezing rain and snow combinations. I am sick of it. In the last week it went from around 50 degrees last Wed. to wintery mix on Thurs, causing the college my wife works at to close and my girls to get out early, Friday was more mix and they were once again all out of school. Total accumulation was around 2 inches, but very slick due to most of it being ice and sleet with a snow cover.

Saturday dawn and the sun popped out and raised the temp to almost 35. Most of the mess melted pretty quickly.

Sunday morning we awoke to a "surprise" 2+ inches of snow. The weather hadn't even been forcasted. Sunday afternoon it was mid 40's and slush developed everywhere.

Monday morning dawned and the sun once again popped through. Temperatures reached the mid 40's and almost all of the remaining stuff was gone.

Yesterday, temps dropped back to low 20's with a blowing snowfall and when I got up today there was another 1/2 inch or so everywhere.

Enough I say. Next Groundhog's Day, somebody shot the little varmit.

You're far enough north of me to have a huge difference in snowfall. We just haven't had it this year. We've had a couple of rounds of tornados though!

The snow that fell this morning is already melted away. Althought we'll be in the 20's tonight, we are supposed to be back up in the 60's by Sunday.

If you don't like the weather in Tennessee, stick around. It will change.

Well so much for the snow. Its going to be like 73 degrees today.

And back down in the 30's tomorrow night after these storms roll through!

We have had a heavy storm with rain and thunder and lightning from Friday on Saturday night.
This morning it was 39 and it will be a bit warmer this afternoon.
We have had showers with hail and later we get showers with sleet.
Yes really weather for March here.

Right now, we're having an ice storm to be followed up by 3-5 inches of snow. Then, on Sunday, we'll be back in the upper 50's.

Here it's stormy for days now.
Tomorrow they expect a heavy storm.

Yesterday it was VERY nice here. I was outside wearing one of my Mr. Incredible t-shirts and my Crocks. Very pleasant spring-type weather. Now, if it was only spring!

Saturday the weather man promished us spring weather.

My T-shirts stay in the closet till next month.
