Mylon Lefevre MORE

Just wondering if anyone here has Mylon's out of print album "More" in mp3 format. I have the cassette, but it got eaten several years back and jacked up a couple songs. It's a great old album, but all I have is an incomplete recording of it and wanted to get another copy.

If anyone has it and can megaupload it, or winzip and email it to me, I'd be stoked.

I don't even think I have heard any of Mylon's music. For some reason the name makes me think of Geoff Moore, or Degarmo & Key.

Never heard any??? I have a few of his CD's and have even heard him in concert years ago. I remember having to call my parents and telling them I would be home late as they just went into intermission around 10:30 or 11pm.

After Mylon's band stopped recording and touring, he went back to singing southern gospel with all of Bill Gaither's Homecoming Friends.

Thanks for posting those vids, after watching them I remembered that I have heard the "Denomination Demolition" song before....but I just can't remember where I heard it.

Hey thanks ya'all.

Yeah, Denomination Demolition is one of my top favs of theirs. The song "More" is still the best song ever.

My first album was their live album "Live forever" way back in 1990ish - I played that thing over and over... even played it for other people in hopes of winning them to Christ.

Never got to see them live tho. I never knew he cruised with the Gaithers... that's cool

Great album. I picked it up a few years ago at his official website. He and his wife Christy are officially ordained ministers these days. Smile

Great songwriter...not so good singer...his voice ruined what would otherwise have been one of my favorite bands.

I think his singing is rather good. However, I do agree that some songs are out of his range (ie "for my growing" - a beautiful song, but some parts are a bit painful to listen to)

Just got it last night brother, and crankin some Mylon as we speaks (thank you).
You kind of freaked my wife out though. She said; "Gary you have a package from someone in California, but it's addressed to Dr. Gary".
I told her it was some pharmaceutical grade stuff I had to "send away for".
