| Oh man, this looks really good. I don't think it's playing in Canada though, at least not at this point. But let us know what you think! |

| My 16 year-old daughter keeps mentioning the film. Says she really wants to go see it. _________________ -- "One day you'll stand before God and realize it wasn't about you"

| Holly & I went last night to see this. The acting in it was very good--not sure if these were professional actors or volunteers like with Sherwood. The storyline was very powerful.
The story is about a young man who is living the high school dream. He has the right friends, is the star of the basketball team, has the right girl, goes to all the big parties, and has a free ride to the college of his dreams. When a childhood friend blows his brains out at school, it makes Jake rethink who he is and what life is about. And unlike many Christian movies, everything doesn't end up so neat and tidy. Jake has to decide if he's going to walk with God in spite of all the crap happening in his life.
If you can find a theater near you, go see this movie this week. Christian films do not open on as many screens and have to make a certain amount of $$$ before other theaters will carry it. Go see it, and spread the word. _________________ |

| Christian movies can be hard to find here as well. Sometimes, they are filmed and go straight to DVD. Big retailers like Walmart and Best Buy don't carry them, either. Or, the movie goes to theaters, but just in a couple of theaters in larger cities. Still the DVD release can be hard to find. Every once and a while, though, someone will figure out how to get their movie to many theaters across the USA. Then, the DVD becomes available almost anywhere. I keep track of what is coming out by visiting: www.christiancinema.com. I don't always buy from them as it pays to price check between them and Amazon.
