What's up with all those cats!!!!

Actually, Staybrite, avd and I belong to the "Branch Kittians". We're a cult that marks its territory.

Seriously though, I've always been intrigued by and love Lions. I've done several scratchboard art of Lions and people over the years have given me tons of Lion stuff... figurines, stuffed animals, a lion staple remover, even a mini-lion tea set (stuff I never would have bought... but hey, people are sweet)

My picture was a photo from an old magazine that I took into paint-shop Pro and "colorized" for the Reggae look.

I thought it was pretty cool.

There's a wicked hazing involved for new members involving cat-nip and a scratching post... it's pretty brutal

We can start here a "CFOWC&LA" club for ownwers with a cat & lion avatars".
It's a free club for all ownwers of a cat avatar and for cat ownwers too.
Here you can tall all you want to share with the other members of the CFOWCA" about cats or lions.

Oh, man you guys crack me up. I really am not a huge cat lover (don't dislike them, they just seem really snotty, so I'm trying to keep them in their place). I have been posting for about 2 years now and all of my avatars (except one I used for a short time) have been cats (mostly silly cats). I started with this cool picture my son made of Puss N Boots from the second Shrek movie.



but I have used several other "cat" pictures of the last few years, just to kinda keep a theme going.







Tall Tyron has also had some silly looking cat avatars as well. He had one of a cat playing a guitar in front of a Marshall stack that was just hilarious.

I stumbled on this one looking for something else.... 2007 !!!! That's almost 6 years ago ! I don't even remember this thread. Crazy !

That's funny I didn't remember the thread at all either. It is kind of cool that nearly all of my pictures are still in photobucket...but I wonder what the missing one was?

Yeh, I remember a couple years ago I went thru the Photobucket site and couldn't figure out why I had so many pointless pictures in there, so I deleted several photo albums.

Now I see what some of those pix were used for... haha

You are not the only person with this problem Gary.

Working in the medical field since I was 19, I've grown to learn what those 40-somethings and older people were griping about when they would talk about "time going so fast" and all the "aches, pains and physical ailments" they had.

btw, the title of this thread back in '09 makes me wonder, I know who SB and Apo are, who was "avd", was that Vonnie ? What did it stand for ?
