3 new Mission Of One songs

Sounds very cool. I love working with other mucisians, many of them bring some really cool ideas to the table.

I too was curious what it would take for mastering. You'd need all tracks used to create the song I'd think.

For just the mastering, just the final mix would be all Thomas would need. But, for him to do both the mixing and the mastering, then all tracks (sent individually) would be necessary.

Ah. I thought tracks were mastered separately as well.

You can EQ them individually, add separate effects, but the final mix everything must come together like the song you'd hear on the CD. Then, you take that final mix and add compression, boost the volumes, etc. to really make it sound like what you're used to hearing on a finished CD.

A bit of strategic EQing is involved in mastering as well. Bit of a long process sometimes, because you have to make different adjostments to EACH SONG in order to make them all sound the uniform throughout the entire disc.

As for getting the tracks to me, it's real easy - you just need to backup the projects to CD as wave files. Jon does it all the time... I think his machine is the same as yours... same series, anyway. I'll get instructions from him on how to do this when the time comes.

Or how about this - just mail me your digital recorder, and I'll work directly from it... the shipping cost should only be about two or three hundred dollars!

Feed My Sheep might be a tad intense for me, but there's some great stuff going on there! not to mention I REALLY REALLY dig gloryland!

Welllll when it wouldn't go through the paper shredder, I decided I'd just have to surrender to it

lol but on a serious note I do rotate between Mission of One, Incarnate and Unforsaken on a regular basis, at first mostly unforsaken because it was all i could handle lol but I have to say the style totally grows on me, and regardless of my being a "head banger in training" it's the message and the clear talent in all cases that counts

I have my first guest guitarist lined up. I will be working with Andy England from the great state of Alabama. He's going to work on some leads with me, and I'll be doing some lyrics and bass work for him in the near future.

I'll be talking to a few others about contributing as well.

Great stuff. It's good when lots of guest musicians get involved in albums, makes it more diverse and more people become interested in it.

Again something good to hear about Mission Of One.
I think things really work for this Cd.
A drummer, a guitatist/vocalist, Thomas who will do the mastering of the CD.
That's gives me a big smile.

Sorry, Thomas! After you talked about backing the songs up to WAV files on CD-R, I had to try it. Needless to say, you'll be stuck with CDs. I'll keep the recorder!

Right now, I have FOUR guitarists on board who are going to help out. I'm gonna name names until I know how things work out with each. Just know that there are a couple that you probably have heard of.

Hint: they have CDs out that we've talked about. That narrows it down, doesn't it?

Oh yeah, narrows it right down... to what, 5,286 possible guitarists???
But by "we've talked", do you mean you and I personally, or all of us here on the CHM? Cause if it's all of us on the CHM, then it narrows it down to 364,912 possibles!

I think it would be all of us! But I can guarantee that there will not be 364,912 guitarists on here! The CD insert would just be too stinking big!

As of right now, there are SIX guitarists going to be on the disc. Three have a bit more notoriety and a bit of a following. The other three are trying to get started--like me! Through a bit of networking and just because I'm a really great person, I have managed to get these guys on board. But, like you, Thomas, I have been unable to get any free gear out of them.
