Anyone here watch American Idol? One of their contestants this year was Chris Sligh who made it to about number 8 before getting booted from the show. Chris was part of a Christian rock band called Half Past Forever before the show, and he returned to it when his part of the competition was over.

Chris now goes by the name of Chris Foxx. Half Past Forever is now signed to Brash Music. Their debut CD "Take A Chance On Something Beautiful" is now available at most retail outlets and Christian bookstores. Check them out on their web site: http://www.halfpastforever.com/

I bought the CD and really like it. While it's modern rock, HPF is definitely a little experimental with their different instruments. It can be a little "trippy", but it's not so out there that you can't enjoy it without thinking about the arrangements.

Hmm, I might have to check this out, Chris Sligh was one of my favorite contestants on A.I.

From the samples on their site, it kinda reminds me of Circleslide.

I haven't listened to Circleslide in a while. I'll have to check them out again.

He was the curly haired guy, wasn't he? I think I'll probably pass on this one, as I don't think it'll be to my tastes.

Still, more power to him.
