Sounds unconstitutional to me.

And I wanna know how they plan to enforce "images causing emotional distress" from sites hosted in foriegn countries? (good luck with that one)

Look for the Internet to be put under UN control very soon allowing international law determine what you can and cannot do.

With a bill like this one in TN, one could argue that almost any image or speech frightens you are causes you emotional distress. It was written to stop bullying--something that will never end until Jesus ushers in a new earth. What it does is strip you of your rights to speak out against any issue like Muslim extremists/terrorists, illegal aliens, homosexuality, or pretty much anything that the courts uphold.

Seriously....that picture of you holding that 1/2 sheet birthday cake is making me a little "emotional" right now.

While I do appreciate the humor, that is actually how far reaching this bill could get. If you wanted to make a case in TN over my avatar, you could now do that.

Maybe I should put up a truly 'distressing' avatar...

This seems to show that people have WAY too thin a skin, and won't put up with stuff they disagree with.

There has been almost NO press coverage on it, so most people don't even know about it yet.

So how'd you find out about this, then?

I had a friend send a link to an article. I have forwarded that link to sveral news sites to no avail.

I've sent the link to the article to local talk show host Phil Valentine. Well, he's local to us here in TN, but his show is syndicated on nearly 100 other stations across the country. So, maybe he will look into this and air it if it's so. Or, perhaps he will find out that this isn't real. I just want more info and cannot find it.
