New Theocracy single

I've not been a fan of this band before, but I am liking the new single they've released. If the rest of the album is like this, I might have to get my first Theocracy CD. Of course, that depends largely on how long the blessed songs are. LOL

You're a little late to the party, Alldat! This was posted on here about 3 weeks ago. Haha! I agree though, this song makes the album sound like it's going to be a BEAST of a record! To me, this has Album of the Year Contender written all over it!

This sound great, I always loved the music of Theocracy.
But the novels of lyrics he's using made me lost my interesse in buying his stuff.

I love the first two albums, I expect to really like the new one as well. I will be picking it up mid December.

This album is really good guys..... I played a new track on HM Podcast #15....

Not trying to "challenge" you here, but why the change? It sounds great to me as well, but very much in line with every other Theocracy release. I'm just curious to learn how this struck a chord with you if previous albums didn't.

Single sounds great. Looking forward to the end of the month and adding another brilliant CD to my collection!

A lot of it has to do with song length, TallT. After 6 minutes, I don't care how well played the song is. My musical ADD kicks in and I get bored. I guess I should rephrase my original statement. I had the first album but traded it. Too many long songs made it something I never played. I like music that makes me feel good--not something I have to think about and really focus on to enjoy. Theocracy's first came off that way to me.

Looks like according to Amazon MP3, there will be 4 songs that are over 6 minutes (the first of which is 11 minutes. I KNOW you're looking forward to that!! )

Maybe I'll just download the shorter songs.
