New MercyMe single

I know that this is lighter than most of you enjoy, but MercyMe is one of the more contempory pop rock bands that I consistently enjoy from CD to CD. I have a couple of their CDs from before they were signed, and have continued to follow their career even before they released "I Can Only Imagine" as a single. They have been CCM radio darlings for several years now, and I think that they will continue to do so with their new album "All That Is Within Me" that releases on Nov. 20.

I really enjoy Bart's voice, and I love it when we play Mercy Me songs with the church worship group (but I tend to make them rock a little more then the originals). Their lyrics are fantastic.
We have one or two of their albums, but I seldom listen to them (I always want them to rock out more). They should think about putting out a greatest hits album soon.

The songs I heared from MercyMe sounds good.
The new single "God With Us" is a song I like.
It's not hard music, but the lyrics are beautiful.

Saw the name of Barry Graul in the band member list.
Is it right Barry Graul played on "Unveiled" Of Whitecross?

That is the same Barry! Barry did two albums with Whitecross, one with Whiteheart, and did a ton of studio appearances for several bands before joining the ranks of MercyMe. I like Barry's playing, but I think that MercyMe was a stronger unit before he joined.

Ashame some of you don't live around here. The state fair is going on for the next week and a half and a lot of the grandstand entertainment are Christian bands of this type. Daughtry and Day Of Fire played last night while I was there. Mercy Me plays tomorrow night and Third Day is playing later next week.

I am going to see Building 429, The Afters, Jackson Waters, and Storyside:B Thursday night for my birthday!
