| Does anyone else get "grossed out" when people on Facebook insist on uploading photos of their "post surgery scars" or "post accident stitches"?
I mean, following is the typical post that I get tired of: "Hi, my name is Harry and I just go run over by the lawn mower and received 123 stitches to my lower left leg. Please pray for me. BTW, for those interested, here are my before and after photos".
Yes, thanks for informing everyone of your accident and we will be happy to pray for you, but the grisly photos fall under the too much information category.

| I guess I have no tact because I love to see that stuff....
of course I was a medic in the Army and got to see some pretty gross stuff there as well. I tried to watch while the doctors were cleaning and stitching up my circular saw injury as well but they wouldn't let me.

| Yea, I'm the opposite too - show me ! I wanna see the gruesome side of life. When I was in college, I got this cool textbook that shows real pix of some MAJOR injuries... disgusting, yes. But real. After seeing those pix, I've certainly been more careful in my garage the last 20 years ! I posted my hardware xray here and on fb, but I won't post my "stitched up back" picture... not cuz it's gross, but cuz it's so low on my back that it shows some of my crack. And you know what they say: "Crack kills !"  | |
