Generally, 40% of people vote Democrat no matter what and 40% vote Republican no matter what. The remaining 20% are the people that need reached. I read here or at CMR that those folks weren't inspired by Mitt the Robot. I agree. I don;t care for Obama's politics, but he's engaging.

I don't think God ever left...I feel and see him all around us...I am one with him..all Christians are even if they don't realize it.

I don't think that at all. And in general I think that most men (or women) who would seek the office of president are so enamored with power and prestige that they don't put God first in their lives....I certainly wouldn't expect that to change once they won the presidency. I just thought that Mitt was the lesser of two very obvious evils.

Sorry man..I just don't see "the evil" everyone is so worried about. I think everyone is blowing this way out of proportion. My views on life (theologically and otherwise) just don't see all the evil that some do nor does it really matter to me. Gods in control and thats all we should care about IMO.

Conservative Christians in this election had no choice from the 2 major parties they could support in this cycle. IMO there was NO lesser evil this round BOTH were absolute poison for the Republic. Personally I am the State Chairman of a minor party and worked with this guy in the Primary.

Once Rick was out and Romney was the GOP Nominee I worked to put Virgil Goode the Constitution Party on my States ballot. I refused to drink the GOP koolaid and support Obama WHITE!
Blame the GOP elite if you must blame some one for Obama being re-elected as Romney was the nominee from the start and the whole process rigged!

Personally I would never have voted for Rick Santorum...I do not think religion should play apart in the presidential election and it really bothered me that so many churches and Santorum, Perry, Bachmann and Romney turned this into a religious event. (separation of Church and state should exist and morality should not be legislated...that is the only way freedom truly works and is the idea behind the constitution)

Separation of church and state is a myth for the most part. While Jefferson referenced it in some of his personal letters and writings, the founding fathers wrote the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution with God all over it. Also, the provision about religion is that CONGRESS shall not establish a religion or prohibit the free exercise thereof in the first amendment known as the Bill of Rights. To tell religious people that they cannot vote based on their convictions within their respective religion, to me, is stripping them of their right to free speech. In this day and age, though, stripping free speech is nothing to our government.

I am standing with my original statement so we will just have to agree to disagree ...obviously with the election results we see what people think.

I cannot help it if the people have forgotten what the founding fathers envisioned. When we forgot as a nation, then the Republic will fall.

I don't think people have forgotten..the thing is alot of people would say that was the founding fathers vision but the founding fathers also created a republic that could change and evolve..I think that was their real vision. I don't think the republic will fall but change..absolutely...and change is not a bad thing. Their is a new vision for our country and alot of people want that. Sometimes we need to let go of the past to create a new vision.

I was thinking about the book of revelations and the prophesy's in it. It really seems to me that the change in Americas views are in line with scripture. I think we have to slowly move away from the traditional America and into a socialist thinking nation for scripture to come true. Remember...in the end all the nations will think and operate the same and will turn on Israel and God is in control of this.
Its this one world thinking government that will usher in the Beast and the antiChrist and will bring Jesus back... It may be scary to watch everything unfolding in front of our eyes (and God knew that and told us not to worry) but its also exciting to see things headed toward the end, scripture happening in front of us and the soon return of the lord.

Change is not always a good thing.......and a change just for the sake of change is almost never good. The events foretold in Scripture will take place no matter what we do, and I will not abandon my convictions and strongly held beliefs in the interest of political correctness.
